It has been a very busy couple of weeks in Spencer County. Since my last post we have gone to The District Horse Show in Frankfort, had a meeting picnic, had our very first Fashion Revue, had a Cloverbud picnic for closing, had Camp Training in Trimble County, Teen Conference in Lexington and had our Relay for life event. I have been meeting new people and experiencing all types of new things.
My favorite thing so far has been Teen Conference. I enjoyed all of the workshops and meeting all the teens. We had a great tour of campus when we went against the grain and had a special tour by me...The teens said it was the best tour ever!!! It was also really nice to see some of the other interns. We had a great time catching up!!
This week we start our Summer Enrichment Program at Spencer County Middle and Taylorsville Elementary School. I am currently planning activities and leadership games for both. We are getting very excited as Camp quickly approaches! We have everything planned and are all ready to start on our training's before July 1.
Our office is having partition walls put up in our large conference room so it is quite noisy here but we are enjoying the calm before all of the Camp craziness starts up again!!!! Lots of meetings and housekeeping stuff to be done but we are having a BLAST!
Cannot Wait to see what more is to come!!!
